Would you like to keep your Denphal for longer?

Lighting

Place the plant somewhere with good light.

However, avoid placing it in direct sunlight to prevent the leaves from scorching.

Temperature

The ideal temperature is around 25ºC or above, but as it is a hardy orchid, it can tolerate variations.

Watering

Water once a week moderately or when needed.

The roots do not like being in direct contact with water in the pot, so make sure water does not collect in order to prevent them from rotting.

Feeding

Add orchid fertiliser along with the water at least once a month.

The flower colour becomes more intense with this care, and you help to prolong the plant's longevity.

Has the plant stopped flowering?

What makes the Denphal so special is that you can easily get the plant to flower more than once.

Give the plant sufficient light and warmth once it has stopped flowering, and continue watering as indicated above.

The plant will consequently produce a new shoot and will flower again within approximately 6 to 8 months.
